polsat channels added to cyfra packages from sept 1st

    doubt this will affect the prepaid cards which many of us boardies here have but for anyone who has monthly subscription is good news indeed!


    The Polish DTH platform Cyfra+ has started to carry no fewer than seven Polsat channels from today (September 1).

    This follows an agreement signed by Canal+ Cyfrowy, the operator of Cyfra+, and Telewizja Polsat yesterday.

    Two of the channels – the flagship Polsat and Polsat 2 – will be available to subscribers of the Greeting+, Basic+, Comfort+, Prestige+ and Prestige HD+ packages for no additional charge.

    Polsat Play, Polsat Café, Polsat Film and Polsat News will meanwhile be placed in the basic package upwards, and Polsat JimJam in the Comfort+, Prestige+ and Prestige HD+ packages.

    The deal represents something of a landmark for both Canal + Cyfrowy and Polsat, which operate the two largest DTH platforms in Poland.
