Hospitals won't take teddy bears because of risk of passing infections through them... only toys that can be wiped clean etc are taken in... Maybe a charity shop would like them?

If they are old, they might be valuable. If they are, and your friend still wants to donate them, make sure she lets the charity know this. Enable Ireland (George's St, Capel St, Camden St, Phibsborough Shopping Centre and possibly other locations) will take them either way. Would be a good idea (if they're not valuable) to wash them first.

    Not your ornery onager

you could also give them to a nursing home. Many old people there enjoy the comfort of them
