tinryland autumn league

    just to let people know our annual autumn league is starting next wed .
    stage 1 -2 miles sept8th at 7.30pm
    stage 2 - 5km sept 15th at 7pm
    stage 3 - 2 miles sept 24th at 7 pm
    prizes in all usual categories
    €5 entry fee on the night in tinryland village
    incorporating inter firms and groups( team of three to score)
    around 100 people participated in each stage last year.

    well done it should read stage 3 on fri 24th other dates are correct first 2 stages are on wed nights and last stage is on the friday night. we give out food and prizes on the friday night as can be tricky to do it midweek. still we don't delay and prizes will be given out promptly 845 on the night in the local gaa centre. all finishers of all 3 stages receive a goodie from jason farrell (usually a sports t-shirt) and a cert

    Fair play to ya again RB, u have the results up as quick as ur goin in the race;)

    i think i coulda been there 88mins before the race and the ''oul lad from tinryland'' woulda still beat me....he's a right one:)


    right race again anyway, and was a great finish to the ladies race - good to see it's so competitive

    Due to a funeral taking place in tinryland tomorrow night , the last stage of the league has to be cancelled and is re-fixed for friday 1st Oct at 7pm in Tinryland village. The distance will remain the same at 2 mile. all competitors will be notified by text or phonecalls tonight. sorry for any inconvenience.
