Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi,
    Is there any problem with 25cc tubes in 28cc tires or visa versa, my brother has a cyclocross bike and was thinking of putting 25cc tires on it not sure whats on it at the moment think 32cc maybe I dont think there is any problem with putting 25cc or 28cc tyres on those rims some please tell me if im wrong.

    I think 25c in 28c tyres would be fine around 70psi, you'd need a second opinion.
    most tubes can expand alot bigger than their advertised measurements indicate but that means the rubber material is getting thinner as it stretches so chances of a puncture are higher

    28c tube in 25c tyre would probably cause pinch flats

    I use 25c tubes in 28c tyres, never had any problems and the smaller tube is quicker to fit!
