Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Back in the day when an Ireland match could bring the country to a standstill! Reminds me of this video that popped up in Cool Vids forum a while back. No matter how well Ireland do, we'll never see days like these anymore :(

Great video. I was only 9 at the time but I can remember the sense of euphoria well.

Belarus deserved that. France were shocking, and the home crowd were yet again a hindrance in a tight spot. **** them!

Miralem Pjanic scored a very unusual free kick for Bosnia Herzegovina against Luxembourg. Juninho-ish in his approach (i.e. running straight at the ball and not from the side) and it dipped right down onto the goal line. Lovely strike.

Is that not how drogba takes his free kicks? What he does is hit it just below the middle of the ball which puts a sh*t load of downword spin on the ball and it goaes up and under. Easier said then done tho ;)

Henry wasn't playing, no one was wearing garlic - you're probably right about the frogs though - taste like chicken apparently

Gotta love the righteous responses. You do realize what football rivalries are ? How they are formed ? Why they are formed ? They always stem from incidents. Oh look, a french player created an incident that directly resulted in our country not going to the World cup...We didn't go, we got over it.Nonetheless we have acquired a new rivalry.

It's not rocket science, it's football. You need to get a grip on your pc righteous bullshít.It's harmless fun for the most part yet peeps like you always try to claim the righteous pc crap. Here's a smiley for you .:o:rolleyes:
