    Can someone please tell me how to stop getting emails from boards? I went to check my email and I have 275 spam from boards plus 25 new messages :eek:

    Since I seem to automatically follow a thread without even pressing the button, how do I stop getting the emails??

    go to user control panel

    click edit options in the settings and options section

    In the messaging and notification section use the drop down list to change your default thread subsciption option to "do not follow"

    save the options and you're done

    or, you can set the option to "no email" if you want the thread added to your My Threads section but not be notified by email
