Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

The irony being that the show is hosted by a lad who cant finish one book. Jesus, even Jordan could finish a book :-)

I would fear for how bad the interview with O'Callaghan could be... unless Tubridy has done some proper research (which he rarely does for sports interviews) this could become a twenty minute discussion of those private school pranks that O'Callaghan is known for... Could be the case that soggy biscuit is the only thing that they have in common...

Looking forward to Blair all the same.

They have their own reality show with cameras following their every move and i'm sure they will mention their grandad that died during the week, louis walsh was at the funeral:rolleyes:

B-Liar will run rings around Tubs if he attemps doing an interview similar to the opening of the last season with Cowen. I bet Tubs will be really nice to him though - prob spend most time praising him without asking too many hard questions.

Can't believe Jedward are on again - when will they **** off? They are constantly appearing on every chat show there is lately.

Why does the Late Late Show give Louie Walshs and his bands ? so much publicity

  • Registered Users Posts: 20,300 ✭✭✭✭casio4

Blair has a book out, they showed him on the news arriving at RTE for the show he will be signing his book in Easons tomorrow in O Connell street under heavy security.
Jedward wont be around too much longer, the fans are fading fast by the look of their reality show there were only about 6 fans hanging around outside their apartment, they dont even live there they were moved in for the show but will be moving back home:rolleyes: they are trying to make as much money as they can for themselves and Louis Walsh this time next year they wont be on our screens hopefully

I think Blair is sound. He did what had to be done both in N. Ireland and The Middle East.

As they said in Nixon (the movie),

"he's an entertainment presenter, he'll throw puffballs at you all night"

God almighty, could they not have parachuted Kenny in for this show. I hope Paxman doesn't see this.

"So Tony, if that is your real name, tell me about politics"
    "Do you like fish?"
    "Ian Paisley, isn't he odd?"

Oh my god its getting worse.

So far you would get a tougher interview on Xpose.

Tubs trying to soften him before he gets onto Iraq/Brown?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,745 ✭✭✭laugh

He asks Tony Blair about his son getting drunk? What an idiot.

  • Registered Users Posts: 20,300 ✭✭✭✭casio4

    Tick...
I kinda like Blair's performance. Ohhh, though, Bush...

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,589 ✭✭✭baldbear

This is so predictable. Tubirdy will look deep and meaningful now and pretend he's hitting him with an explosive question. Then show over claps and kisses!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 28,545 ✭✭✭✭murpho999

    Why is everyone criticising this?

It has been obvious from the start of the week that this interview would be under Blair's terms.

Don't expect Tubridy to give him a tough grilling as I'm sure he has a list of 'Do Not Ask Questions'.

It's a chat show FFS not a politics show. I think Tubbs is playing a blinder:)

Tubs is not spending enough time on each question. Blair gives a one line answer and then its onto the next question. Tubs is not delving deep enough.

He also has a list of 'Do Ask Questions' and is diligently working down them from 1 to 50. This is like the just a minute quiz, not exactly Parkinson.

Wow, as someone mentioned earlier I thought we'd have to wait for DOC for the soggy biscuit stories, instead Ryan & Tony are 1 upping him & playing it right infront of us!
