    Lo all,
I was wondering where in Dublin i could get a paintball mask that fits around my glasses.

The reason being is that any time i goto Paintball with work or the lads, the mask won't fit, or press my glasses very hard against my face (which is bloody annoying after 10 minutes). To make matters worse, some of them cause my glasses to fog up, which when running through a forest, is not all that safe :(

Would be looking for a full face mask.

Contact Airdrop paintball, they'll be able to advise you on different masks which might suit your needs and are very reasonable with there prices to.
    Hope this helps

I wear glass's and sadly they don't mix well with paintball. The two best options are:

    1) Wear contact lens when playing. It makes life so much better on the field.

    2) Forget a full face google system with glass's. It doesn't work. I speak from personal and from working experience in the industry. You should wear a half head mask (So your back is exposed) as they won't catch the rear of the glass's behind your ear. Its more comfortable. And to cover the back of your head you can wear a baseball cap backwards or a bandana. They also won't fog. What people forget is 90% of your body heat goes through your head, so if you cover it your goggles will fog. I repeat WILL fog. I can't stress enough how you shouldn't even consider a full head system with glass's.

I'm unsure of the name the face mask I'd be wearing. The best ones so far have a front facing plastic shield for the eyes, and hard plastic for the nose and mouth, with a strap going around the back of my head.

No can do. Eye lids are too tight, thus contact lenses just fall out :(

    =-=

Thus far I had the mask at crossfire which isn't bad, and doesn't fog up that badly, and the face masks at Kartcity paintball, which squashes your glasses to your face, making your nose sore from the pressure applied, and your glasses dirty from any sweat dripping from your eyelashes (as the glasses are pressed so far back). The former wasn't bad, the latter was hell, esp as they fogged up quite frequently. Unfortunately, in most places it's hit and miss, and thus why I'm looking for a mask that I can buy myself. The glasses I have are wider than usual, but strong (have survived being hit with a clenched fist whilst I was wearing them).

All the helmets I've worn have had the back of my head exposed, but I use a one-hole balaclava to solved the issue of the back of my head been open.

Aye, cheers. Think I used something like http://www.airdrop-paintball.com/shop/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=18_19_32&products_id=38 before, but unsure how big my glasses were at the time (they're 14.5cm wide now).

I really wouldn't recommend playing with glasses.

When i worked at a marshal in an unnamed shíthole (in santry) some guy collided with another and got his mask knocked in. The force of the collision on the mask snapped the nose piece of his glasses and the metal embedded itself into the guys nose.

It was nasty, but a pure accident. :(

I don't know if this helps but you might look into buying a specialised perscription lense to go on your mask. I know SCUBA divers can get them for the same reason (unable to wear glasses underwater derp). Maybe buy a default mask and have the lense specially made??
