With the notable exception of Ireland, Diamond Eyes has been relatively successful in international charts

god damn you Ireland, if only you bought the album, Deftones might be here right now instead of Glascow!!

I bought my copy, damn the rest of you! (that didn't)

I think they're not playing Ireland dispite us. As payback for not buying the album.

Well we don't want you anyway Deftones!! Yeah....

That was the Leeds setlist. For a band I don't really like on cd, particularly Chino's screaming, they were damn awesome. Very impressed, and I'll never listen to them on record again (bar limited, non-screaming songs).

ahah I knew the min I wrote it that someone would say this..:D

I meant a close distance to see them as not to have to fly some place else.

A 45 mins bus ride is perfect, enjoy few drinks before getting there;), so, yes! I am still hoping that Oxegen gig could happens

Is there any reason why 'Saturday Night Wrist' is ignored in the setlist?...I know the band were not too pleased with the album and how they recorded it but it does contain some strong songs...and the ones most likely to attract new fans to their music.

I actually think "Saturday night wrist" is one of their best albums..

Totally agree....I kinda wasn't too pushed on their self titled album or SNW initially....probably because I compared them too much to White Pony...but once I gave them a proper listen they really grew on me. SNW up as far as Xercses is an amazing album I think. A bit hit and miss after that but a good album.

Seen them in both Luxembourg and Berlin. Two great shows

Made a trip across the pond to Glasgow to see their Nov 13th show...

Deftones were amazing! So much raw energy and everything I'd hoped for and more!

Support was from Coheed and Cambria who I'm not a major fan of... but the sound for them was brutal and ruined their gig IMO...

Whether it was because it was the first date on the tour or it was some kind of mad deliberate ploy so that Deftones seemed way better when they came out (that was sarcasm) I dont know... But I hope the rest of the tours sound is better for the entirety of the show.

Deftones sound was spot on, their set was great and all around well worth the trip over!

The ladies in Glasgow are also something special! :)
