When to pick Chillies?

I have a number of Jalepeno plants w chillies at different stages. there are a few v small ones which are bright red. There are larger ones that are green. I heard that when they are red theyre ready, but these are way too small. If theyre red already and only 1" long, will they continue to grow or is that their growing…

Once there red you can pick them, there like peppers you can pick them green too. Most Jalenpinos that are sold are green. The experts say the poorer the soil you grow them in the more intense the flavour.
