Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Wow from could have been a leveller to a 2-0 winner in a few secs. Well worked by England. Defoe knows how to take his limited chances (take note Mr Keane earlier!!)

Same old from England. Will bottle it when they face a decent side like usual.

A goal from Rooney would be the icing on the cake.

Lethal finishing alright - but 4 goals created by Rooney.

I know he's well capable of poaching and finishing chances (as he did last year) but for me, he's far more impressive as a link man/#10 when he can roam a bit.

Cracking collection of goals, the sort of thing that Ireland can only dream about.

Well with a population a twentieth(ish) the size of England, with no full time fully professional league, where by over 80% of the football supporting public support an English team, run by a shower of clowns such as the FAI, with what are we to expect......

Yeah but you have decent pool of professional players playing the top tiers of England Scotland and Russia (!)

    Lets be honest.
    We dont really.
Very few of those players are playing for the best teams in those countries and at this stage we have a relatively small selection of players even in the top leagues in these countries.

Ah yeah, typical England, will probably blow the qualifying group apart, then bottle it big style on the main stage, helped massively by the build up the media have given them.
