Curious call from Eircom re change in V'fone T&C's

    Hi All,

    Contacted by Eircom this morning and offered 1mb for more € than I currently pay for 3mb/s from Vodafone.

    I was told Vodafone are changing their T & C's, giving customers a right to break their contracts and change ISP's & that I will receive a letter from Vodafone to this effect soon.

    I informed Eircom that as they are a debt-ridden plaything of international venture capitalists, Singaporean Teleco's and an overly generous employee share trust (leaving little money for actual investment in infrastructure), I'd stick with V'fone ta.

    Anyone else hear the same or actually receive a letter from V'fone?
