It says he three putted from 2 feet 8 inches after stitching it for eagle. Just a par. Oh shot tracker. That cant be right

Good bounce back with a birdie at 17 but really should be under par today. Striking it well but hopeless putting. Hopefully that 11 footer kickstarts him!

Been following Padraigs progress on the tour since he turned professional from his rookie season battle with Westwood and Bjorn all the way through his major triumphs and it's sadly now looking as though his game is deserting him. He was always a player who threw in a few howlers but now they are no longer offset by magical runs of eagles and birdies.

Chip in change. Back to level!

33 ft birdie chip in the first after a wild tee shot!!! Back to level par now. Pity about the previous putting. Maybe that bit of good fortune will give him the confidence to push on

Back to back birdies after a lovely wedge approach to 5 feet.

Bit of a birdie run here at least. 3 in his last 4 holes

Make that 3 in a row and 4 in 5 holes. 2 under. And that is with 2 3-putts in the round!

And another birdie. Keep it going Harro.

Short game seems in good order on the back 9. Damn 3 putts are a real threat.

    He never left!!!!

Legend. I'm going down to dunnes to spend a fortune on paddy gear.

Bit of a wild drive on his last hole the 9th. He's got 208 yards from the rough all over water. Just lay up and take your bogey Padraig!

  • Registered Users Posts: 457 ✭✭JohnnyLocke

Hes played a smart shot away from the water. 35 yards away for an up and down for par. It would be a clever par!

  • Registered Users Posts: 457 ✭✭JohnnyLocke

8 footer left to post 2 under

  • Registered Users Posts: 457 ✭✭JohnnyLocke

    Super par!!!!!!

I know I'm going to get accused of hopeless overoptimism, but it seems that he is beginning to regain some form. Be nice to see him put a few decent results together - top tens or maybe even a top five or two. If he can do that, it could be a launching pad to getting back into contention.

First time in a while I've felt this way. Let's hope I haven't just jinxed him!:)
