Nice to hear Padraig say in his interview on Sky that he now looks forward to putting!

Harrington seemed a lot more confident and happier in his interview tonight than he has in any interview since being on the Late Late show after winning the USPGA championship. He seems to be loving his game and it's all coming back together for him. I'm not going to say there is another major in him but definitely 2-3 more titles (hopefully starting this weekend).

Mcilroy and Harrington top of leaderboard

That must be the first time both have shared lead in any tournament.

    No?

Yes it is a dodgy field. Half only half interested.

But great to see that name near top - particularly after a bad start.

Aaaaaaah Rory give us Paddy's day out.
Could you have turned it off for this one.

Rory turn in 30 - course record of 62 on.

    Interesting it is
    Dubuisson
    casey
    Coetzee

    with record.

Course record won't even count because of placing.

3 straight rounds under par. T10, another good round tomorrow for a top 5 finish hopefully.

Will need to be very good. Lost a lot of ground today.

Top ten would be great, top five a bonus.

4 pars to start and already down to T19. Playing with Shane who's had a couple of early birdies. Meanwhile McIlroy doubles the first! If Wilson feels the pressure the leaderboard will be packed.

Dropped a shot on 13 to go to -10. Hoping for a strong finish.

Good result for Harrington, not as high as we hoped but still not a bad weekend. Only 9 bogeys and no doubles is another positive.

I'm very heartened by Harrington's performance in the Dunhill. I find I am really looking forward to watching him again on TV......instead of being almost afraid to look.

I don't think they showed a single shot by him yesterday, but he got good coverage on Saturday when he was still on the fringes of being in contention. He had about four putts in a row that shaved the hole or stopped in the jaws. If only a couple of those had dropped....

In his interview on Friday evening, he said he was very happy with his putting. I hope this continues this week in Portugal.

Not a massive jump but he's up to 311th this week. At least it's going in the right direction for a change.

When was the last time his ranking improved? I know he is miles down the rankings, but he is showing signs of playing better. If he could finish out the season with a continuous improvement, however small, it would be good.
