    To save you the read:
    100 pages full of hope
    300 full of despair
And the last 98 on why he should play in Thailand more

It's only showing 398 for me. I'm guessing the 100 pages full of hope were removed ? ;)

This thread mirrors how people view and play their own golf games.

    "If only....."
    "Its just around the corner"
"Maybe I can reach the green from 220yards around this tree"
"I would have had 40 points if i didn't scratch those three holes"

    Deluded and false hope

Another good opening round this week & I hope he will maintain it & not self destruct like he has in too many 2nd rounds recently. Hoping for the best - Come on Padraig!

"I would have had 40 points if i didn't scratch those three holes"

    Deluded and false hope

    And then occasionally......

"I've got it! What a round, I've won by 4 shots! It was only a matter of time!"

    Wash and rinse.

I'll wait for the above, it always comes around. Except for those who don't believe it will. ;)

Will it be a perfect touchdown at about 10.30pm tonight or a crash landing before it?

2nd shot on the 6th, from the Spacecraft.... "Harrington, we have a problem...."

looks like shot tracker isn't an option for the course harri is playing today, just his score.

Wow. A HORROR start to his second round. 3 over thru 4 including two very birdieable par 5s. Another missed cut beckons.

birdie'd straight back, hope that 7 will be his only blip of the day

He's come back with a birdie after another ugly 7 on his card.

    Another birdie back to -3

Another birdie on the 16th, his 7th

  • Registered Users Posts: 457 ✭✭JohnnyLocke

Bogey. Back to 2 under. Currently tied 84th. Still has the hardest course left to play tomorrow which plays 2 shots harder. Really didn't think he'd miss the cut again but looks extremely likely now! I'd say the cut will be about 5 under by Saturday evening!

Is he still on 2 under or has he moved up or down - leaderboards keep freezing on me

3 over through first 4 was a nightmare start.

But given that he started from 4 under - that would have bought him to 1 under for the tournament.

So 3 under now suggests that hes done the 8 holes since in 2 under - so that's some bit of a positive.

Obviously he will go and get a bogie or worse now that ive said that

    2 par 4's , a par 5 & 2 par 3's to finish

Anything could happen but hopefully he gets under par for the day

A potential banana skin ducked there - one of his problem areas has been par 5s

Yes and he missed the fairway with his drive too, so a good par
