    He needs to take as many of these opportunities as he can - but getting to the birdie opportunity is an important first step

    He should make it and then try not to bogey the 17th, the 18th is a par 5 that is giving up shots today. Should be at least under par today

    The 18th is a par 5, index 18 so really if he could get through that treacherous looking 17th hole he could actually have a chance at one more birdie at the last. Maybe I'm being overly ambitious.

    Yes it will be quick from there. However its the safe shot. Thats what makes this so tough, the bail out is still a tough up and down.

    Looks like he almost holed it! Bar nothing silly on the last this has been a very promising round! Missed a 3 footer, a 7 footer and an 8 footer and is still 2 under indicating he was rarely in trouble. Granted he made a few good pars at the start from bad positions though. This course is a real test.
