Amazing how such a world class player can have such trouble with the short 4-6ft putts.....they've been his nemeses this week.

The point I'm making is that this is the type of player Harrington was, is and always will be. Also, this is a good comparison because people are saying there was no need for him to go for the green today. Well there was no need for him to go for the green with a 2 shot lead at the seventeenth on Sunday at the British Open, but he did and he secured the win then and there. He's an aggressive player, and thats what has helped him be a success.

Still bang in contention, and I know every player misses the odd short one, but Padraig has had a couple of really poor three putts from 30/40 odd feet today.

Be nice to nick a birdie before they call it a day.

Exactly this. Successful people don't doubt themselves in pressure situations; they won't always pull it off but they'll always expect to, that's the difference.
