I think the reality is that IF Paddy slides a bit further and finishes outside the top 10 then we are all going to be gutted in the context of where he was after 34 holes. However, with that old chestnut "mature reflection", when the dust settles we will all consider it to be a big step forward in term of his competitiveness. It will take a serious collapse from here to take anything but positives from the week and Lord knows none of us wants that (even First up i would say !! hehe!) We could put it down to the messiness of the final two rounds play in terms of how if affected his overall game...who knows....but fingers crossed for the moment that he'll build his position back up and finish strongly....

I suppose my outlook on it - is that his flaws - weren't ever going to be ironed out JUST like that

Dammit he's not getting a whole lot of TV coverage.

Jesus, reading the last few pages, its like Padraig's over analysis of everything is contagious.

Another 4 footer left for par at 9. Seemed to be an easy chip but he putted it

Seemed strange choice all right as the greens are obvously fast now.

High risk shot by Padraig from the rough on the 11th. Great result to around 20 feet, with Poulter finding water.

He deserves a birdie. So close to close twice now.

Its a shame he didn't get them

But in the overall context of where he was PRIOR to this event - the fact hes creating these opportunities is a positive.

    Hope he gets one soon

    Another bird...

Padraig's swing looks fantastic - the best it has looked for years. Everything is moving in sync as a single piece with great balance to finish.
Now he's putting brilliantly - right in the middle at pace.
