Masters app says it was a bogey?

He must have missed it. Ball was still visible on the tracker after his 4th

Shot tracker had it down as hole score 4..but yeah he did bogey at 17, back to E.

I was going by the fact that the tracker was showing a hole score of 4.

Re leaderboard - its very confusing - it shows your score for the tournament AFTER finishing that hole - but the weird thing is that - green actually means over par - and a red means under par.

So if its a red 1 showing for Padraig - it means hes one UNDER for the tournament.

If your level par - it shows a 0

    Really odd I agree

    Yupp, terrible putt

For the 17th it shows a missed putt from 2ft finishing 2ft away. Is there a penalty shot in there or something?

He finished level par. There was some positives and some negatives, but all in all a good round of golf.

    A complete mystery :(

However - this is a better position then I was expecting after his nightmare few holes last Saturday night.

Its a VERY tricky course though - weird thing about the 17th though is - hed done all the hard work

Very pleased with that position after one round - an up and down round, but it ain't easy out there.

He did well on par 5s - ALL of his 4 birdies came on those according to the score card im looking at

Its probably going to be a tough week for him - BUT it will be for EVERYBODY.

This course is absolutely nuts in terms of its difficulty.

Id still be delighted with making the cut.

btw - is it just 95 players in it - and if so whats the story with the cut

Top 50 plus ties as well as anyone within 10 shots of the lead makes the cut. So Paddy is 2 (technically 3 if we count the fact he is 7 behind the leader) shots off the cut line at present.

I agree with everyone here that level par is a good first round, especially considering he bogeyed the first. That said, 2 under with three to play he really should have been doing better. Hopefully he gets into the red tomorrow.

Tough course though - Mr Speith is doing superhuman work to get to 8 under tbh.

Will be tricky though - making the cut will be a decent result

Look at the names below the projected cut line, Luke Donald, Martin Kaymer, Hunter Mahan.

Hope P can put in another good round, as mentioned, he played the par 5s well.

I don't think Speith will be there at the end bit could end up eating my words. :)

I'll be stunned if Spieth isn't there at the end. Number 4 in the world, in fine form.....

And almost certainly going out on the course with a mindset of going one better this year

The golf channel showing Padraig on the range and then he starts his happy gilmore routine.:D They are really bigging him up... the Americans seem to really like him. Hoping he can go low today.

Drove into the bunker on 1 but shot out has put his 10ft to the pin, albeit from the fringe.

  • Registered Users Posts: 10,758 ✭✭✭✭Pudsy33
