The year Todd Hamilton won The Open he had won The Honda Classic earlier that season wink.png

I take issue with you Sir !
The parallels you draw between a journeyman winner of nothing else of note but those two tourneys, probably the lowest level winner/waste of a major in recent times, with a multimajor winner on the all time list, winnner of the money list, and umpteen titles on the major tours, are most unfair to Ireland's second greatest golfer ever. The Hamster is not even in Harrington's (former) league.
I demand a retraction and apology.

It should be a roller coaster Tom biggrin.png

2 weeks of links should be interesting after the promise of the first 2 rounds in Down.

Still at -4 for the day with 3 to play, in it for the weekend anyway. Current leader at -11 though so lots of work to be done.

    2 over par 72 to finish T60

Interesting stat from this week was that Padraig birdied each of the par fives in all four rounds. A while back there was a lot of discussion about his relatively poor scoring on par 5s.

Anyway, roll on next week. Hope springs eternal!

At least it wasn't a missed cut. Good prep for the Open.

Followed by 3 pars, so out in 35. That's OK.

Up and down round today, still at -1 thru 12.

    Even Par 72

    Fairways: 56%
    GIR: 39%
    Putts: 24

Looks like his putting kept him going

Didn't see very much of the coverage at all but would it be fair to say that conditions were a bit tougher for the afternoon players and generally speaking all the decent scoring was done during the earlier rounds?if thats the case then I'd be interested to see where level par would be amongst the rounds that started in the 2nd half of the day...I suspect a lot better than it is now....does anyone know what the forecast is for tomorrow....paddy out early so fingers crossed the wind blows but that the better weather is during the morning...a good round in tough conditions could catapult him into a decent position...but to be honest,I'd take making the cut right now....!

Padráig is teeing off at 10:52.We should get to see loads of him this morning since not many are out yet.

Ken Brown has said he was in parts of the course yesterday not visited by many :) but was saved by having 24 putts. Hopefully a better day ball striking today. Making the cut would be a good result for him.

not following on TV, is the weather bad for the day, bad enough that the cut might be 0 or +1?
