Paddy has hit an all time low , he was the second worst golfer in his latest tournament

In the masters, he bogeyed all four par 5's in his final round, possibly the first person ever to manage this............his game is a mess at the moment

Lets hope he returns to the honest simple golf he used to play, looks like he is overcomplicating things at the moment.

That is like saying Barcelona are a bad team.

But yes lets hope he is back soon. He will be.

Latest interview below, seems fairly confident that he'll turn it around at some stage

His latest post on the PH website is encouraging in that he recognises how bad his short game has been lately. A scrambling rate of 24% is just nowhere near good enough, probably not much better than what your average 5 or 6 handicapper would have. He also lost a bunch of shots to his poor putting. You simply cannot hope to contend in any tournament with a dodgy short game. He would have comfotably made the cut if his scrambling and Strokes Gained Putting stats were anywhere near his normal averages.

The only problem with this game of golf, is that when you fix one thing, invariably another thing breaks down!! Lets hope he puts in a good response at his next tournament

    From KarlMcgintys article today
"He's going down one road that I think is wrong," said Torrance. "I've told him if he goes down too far, he won't come back ... you make changes in your 20s, but once you get to your 40s, it's too late."

Doesnt count for much though coming from the man least able to give an opinion. Its in the nature of the top sports person (Sergio's insight into his own second rate status a curious exception) to aways be confident, optimistic, and believe that with a little more practice, the return to form is just around the corner. They wouldnt be who they are without it.

Huh? If you'd bothered to read the blurb, you'd realise that interview is four months old

A story quoting PH confident of a return to form is a valid story from any month over the last 4 years though.....

Maybe this is that week! After a dolly mixture of a start, he is now going along very steadily.

Na, we will take a cut and a top 30 here. He still has that bad round in him I'd say.

The week he gets rid of the bad round he will win.
