Yeah for example if I take 20 shots and 15 are in focus thats a 75% keeper rate.
Obviously you get a higher keeper rate on static things compared to moving/fast moving subjects and so on.

Now using a lens like the 135L 2.0 which is def my fastest focusing lens I can virtually get a 90% keeper rate.

This is brilliant, the often seen street photography of foreign nations like a cameraman is somewhere he should not be only instead it's in Ireland. Wonderful.

The Public Order Unit was not called upon at the protest. If they had been called upon they would have put on helmets. On these helmets you would have seen identification numbers. The protest was handled by regular uniformed Gardai.

really great photos, really tell part of the story that day. If you're interested in further perspectives on the event there's a couple of videos on youtube of it. one is particularly interesting where the protesters believe they have won by sitting down and blocking a Garda van while they fail to see another Garda van reversing up and going the opposite direction.
