    Hi,

    I am interested in running the Edinburgh marathon in May 2011 and then the Dublin marathon in October 2011. Is this ok to do?

    I am beginning to start getting fit now and then in next 3 months start my marathon training.

    You should be grand, you're giving yourself a decent amount of time anyway.
    Pick a training plan - sometime like couch to 5k to start - build up slowly, and be consistent.
    The running you do now will build up a base, and make an enormous difference when you get to your marathon training.
