Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I bought a trek 6000 in May for 900 with clock, bottle and holder, and saddle bag with tube etc...
Like yourself i looked at trek, lapierre, giant and specialized. The trek is a nice bike, looks good and i have had lots of fun with it this summer. The reviews are good too but i find the tyres slippy in the muddy stuff. I found that with the bikes i had looked at, they were similar enough in spec at that money.

If its the shop I think you're talking about then its kinda small... good brands but limited choice.

I would take a day trip up to Cyclesuperstore in Tallaght..

Like Toys R Us but for bikes... was there on Sat and noticed what a great range of Mountain bikes they have... Check em out online..

    My tuppence...:p

A friend of mine only bought one of these a few weeks back, to be honest not a great bike for the money. If you are not buying a bike on the bike to work scheme you would get a pretty sweet second hand bike for that price that would far out preform anything you can get new for that money.
