paying for accommodation

i was told that i have to book accommodation for a whole year and pay in two installments . but i really hope to find smth cheaper in the city as i think it is rip off in here. but if i pay for half a year and then move out at the end of the term whats the worst that they could do:D, i mean i know ill lose my deposit but…

You'd be expected to pay for the second semester if someone doesn't fill your place.
