Proxy that loads faster than Tor?

Just wondering if there is a faster loading proxy out there that people use? Currently using tor - and it doesn't seem too bad - but faster is always better if the option is there?

Just as an update - i subbed to overplay - and i'm very happy with it. Often wondered if paid proxies were a waste of money but got that question answered now.
