Can you change the type of rewards you earn with an MBNA visa?

    Hey There! Does anyone know if its possible to switch the type of rewards that you earn with an MBNA visa or is this impossible?? I have a Ryanair card that has proved pretty useless and I was hoping to change to a more useful card or even a charity MBNA card. Anyone have any experience of this??

    AFAIK they're all treated as seperate products, so you would have to re-apply for a new card.

    Ye op, buffy is spot on. You apply as normal for a different card, not sure what rewards your going to switch too, none are that great.

    The good thing, you will still be able to see both cards in your one account online. Even if you close the ryainair account, it still has the details online, statements etc.

    The best value rewards card is probably the tesco one, but they have no online account service, and are not run using mbna.
