    Hi there,

I just completed a level 8 postgrad in journalism and have obtained a 2.2 in commerce beforehand.

Not a clue what to do next with my life any ideas on where I could go or get a job abroad easy enough for a year.

Sorry I can't help but if it makes ya feel any better I'm in much the same situation after finishing an MA! On dole at the moment and not much sign of getting off it...after two leaving certs, five years in college and spending over ten grand (just on fees) in that time it's not what I would have hoped for. But there is plenty of us in the same situation and much worse...

"level 8 postgrad" - probably the humblest way you can say you got a PhD.
