Good game so far, very even, both teams with a few efforts, the pitch isn't great which might suit us a bit as the Japanese seem to like to pass a lot.

Ref is a bit dodgy too. Any sort of decent tackle and she gives a free against us.
Sure there was a blatent foul throw there aswell and it wasnt given! Ref needs to cop on a bit!

really good game. Irish are stronger and stand their ground, Japs go down fair easy and its gifting them a lot of frees. Harsh pen decision. refs want to turn soccer into a non-contact sport, same in the WC in SA.

Keep the heads up girls.

Maloney is a quality keeper, she might give Shay a run for his money in a few years! :rolleyes:
