Has anyone done this module? My first choice elective is madly oversubscribed and I would like to have an alternative at the ready in case I need it.

how can you tell if an elective is madly over subscribed or not?

They send out regular emails to anyone who is signed up for oversubscribed modules, letting them know how many places are available and how many are looking for a place. If your elective is undersubscribed, you don't hear anything until you have your place confirmed.
