Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Sligo Triathlon Club will this year host a try a tri event for those wishing to dip their toes into the world of triathlon. The date for the event is 10th October 2010 and it will take place at the Sligo Sports Complex.

The event will consist of a 250metre swim(10 lengths ) in a pool followed by a 12km cycle on the local roads followed by a 4km run.

The price for the event is €30 for adults and €20 for juniors (16 to 18yrs).

Registration is available now through www.runireland.com and places are expected to fill up very quickly. This event has been a great success in past years with many participants going on to be very accomplished triathletes.

More details will be available soon through http://sligotriathlon.blogspot.com/
