Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back a page or two to re-sync the thread and this will then show latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Ok ok, I realise first of all that DNF is at this stage an almighty joke so please don't feel the need to fill the thread with jokes to this effect!

For those who still held out hope that Duke would finally get another proper outing it has finally been announced, though speculated enough recently, that Gearbox have taken the reins and Duke is on his way in 2011 to 360, PS3 and PC.

For me, I never played some of the classic shooters, it was all Duke. I cannot even begin to think how may hours I clocked on Duke 3D and I even enjoyed the so so Zero Hour on the N64. So I for one am extremely excited that this is on its way, even more so that Gearbox have control as I think Borderlands and Duke could sit easily together as stable partners.

Only thing is, is Duke gonna work now? At the time of its release, DN3D was something away from the norm and the witticisms were just unbeatable but with all that has come since, can Duke still be a relevant stand out game?
