Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Insulation contractor in Limerick area

    Hi all,

    Looking for a recommended insulation accessor/installer in the Limerick area. We're looking to get the house evaluated and improve the insulation on it. Would appreciate anyone who has had experience.

    Used ecowarm, no complaints and no issues with work just keep an eye on insulation of storage tank in attic and there measuring tape if getting flooring, left me short some sq m first time but fixed when I told them. Sis used swell, the insulation will make huge diff to older house and v noticeable diff to modern ish house. Money well spent.

    I rang ECOWARM loads of times trying to get information and no-one ever got back to me. Heard of Southern Insulation Services and contacted a guy called Jason.

    They were fantastic. He called to the house. Helped me apply for the grant cause I live in an older house (Greenfields). They came within couple of days. Started at 9 gone by 2pm. Left house spotless and did fabulous job. I would highly recommend them. It made huge difference to my house. Much warmer and so glad I did it.

    It cost 1350 euro for attic, walls and BER cert. Grant is for 850 so only paid 500 in the end. Well worth it if you get the grant.
