Hi, are any of you guys into die cast model cars the high detail type which cost anything from say €10-€50, My brother in the UK has around 200 of them.
So I was thinking of buying some stock and selling them around markets & car booties, or do you all buy online?

This is just a bit research and would like some feed back

    thanks
    pben

    No interest myself tbh.

I imagine the market is quite well served between model shops, some of the higher end stuff in toy stores and online, unless you are focusing on something specific or odd

Better off putting the lot on ebay, watch out for the free listing weekends!

Hey guys, I have a complete collection of Ferrari die cast cars that im trying to sell.

    All boxed in mint condition.

Iv done a bit of research and attended a few collectors fairs, and keep getting told to put them to specialised auction.

Value wise, the figure i keep getting back is around the 400 mark, but id let them go for 200.

If anyone is interested in buying, or can give me any more info, PM me for a chat.

    Iv posted a wee pic

My appologies captainfreedom, that sounded very sarcastic, not my intention.

I contacted several auction houses in Dublin/meath/kildare to no avail, but then i got put onto Acton auctioneers, a company based in the uk. Spoke briefly with a guy there who is apparently a pro at sourcing buyers for die cast.
His opinion was that, although they are not worth much on the common market, certain buyers have been known to pay up to a few hundred quid for a set in good condition.
Same advice at a few collectors fairs.

Like i said, dont know much on the subject, just tryin to make a quick buck.
