Any actual evidence of molten steel?

Stop kidding yourself. Your not doing yourself any favours spouting this crap.

Ok then, let's just agree to disagree.

Explain the large amount of molten metal pouring out of the building just seconds before the collapse.

Probably aluminium - but it could be a variety of materials - even plastics.

Yep. There was lots of molten metal evident at the WTC - primarily aluminium - given that both the plane and building's facade were made of the stuff. - mix with concrete and other debris - meteorite looking lump.

"like lava" they said. Aluminium is silver, not red.

    It was steel and Iron

Once again - there were no pools of molten steel.

    It generally does.

    From a reputable source:
"Fires are still actively burning and the smoke is very intense," reports Alison Geyh, PhD. "In some pockets now being uncovered, they are finding molten steel."

I assume you don't view this scientist as stupid?

Not at all - here's what she has to say on the matter:
I personally saw open fires, glowing and twisted I-beams. I was told, but do not remember by whom, that the workers were finding molten steel.

Are you calling the firemen who were at the scene liars then? If anyone would know what melted steel looks like, it would be a fireman.

    :pac::pac::pac:

    Another retraction then eh?

How curious...If i didn't know better it would seem like there was some kind of coverup in action

Just do a google on 'molten aluminium' - there's scores of nice orangey glowing pics to choose from.

Yup it sure can. It melts at 660 degrees.

Or that she had been misinformed. But that can be easily clarified with a link to evidence of molten steel at the wtc. I'm still waiting.

You do understand that as all metals cool they lose the nice orangey colour? I wouldn't like to patronise.

What in the fu*k would raise the temperature of aluminum in the WTC to 1000 degrees centigrade?

Can you possibly comprehend how hot 1000 degrees centigrade is?

You are probably wondering why, in this clip, NIST deny that there was molten steel there...

It's because NIST knows that office fires and yes, even JET FUEL can not produce temperatures hot enough to melt steel.

Given that FACT, we would be sure that something else was used.

Well, some of us. Others are ostriches :D

You do realise that steel melts at higher temperatures, yes?

Came across some Press TV documentary which were going on about how the 9/11 attackers were all not very muslim at all and were far from extremists...

It's not cooling, it's still on the heat.

The aluminium in the WTC from the plane did not exist in a vacuum, it was mixed with melted plastic, glass and other burning materials.

Steel with 2.1% Carbon by weight begins melting at 1130 °C (2066 °F), and is completely molten upon reaching 1315 °C (2400 °F). 'Steel' with more than 2.1% Carbon is no longer Steel, but is known as Cast iron. http://www.msm.cam.ac.uk/phase-trans/images/FeC.gif

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Structural_steel#Thermal_properties

So the fires were hot enough to turn molten aluminum bright red but not hot enough the melt the strongest carbon steel in existence? Is that what you are now telling us?
