    God this is a bore!

Kenny & Cahill must be the worst double act on radio

Non sensical drivel. The only thing Pat Kenny doesnt seem to be an expert at is land law.

Myles is in for Pat this morning. So what's the bet. A History slot or an Art slot. Which will get worked into the show first?

And after history threatened to break through on the Syria slot the winner is...... Art.

After trudging through two current affairs segments Myles comes to life. Laughing and enthuastically questioning John Hurt about Beckett.

I don't often get the chance to listen but did this morning and turned off, unable to work out why that woman was on for what seemed like half an hour. When I turned on again, there she still was and she actually asked someone "how do you feel" so turned off again.

What a ghastly mistake for a show which is normally quite good.

I hear the phone connection from Argentina got pretty bad as soon as a local reporter invited onto the show started to explain about some legal proceedings against Jorge Mario Bergoglio and was cut off pretty quickly.

    Congratulations. You HATE a sport.
Why do you hate rugby? Just out of interest. Do you hate any other sports?

    No.

    1. the rugger bugger followers, who I had run ins with a few times.
    2. Its more like wrestling than a proper, flowing sport like Soccer or GAA footy and Hurling.

Rugger Bugger followers? Of course the soccer and GAA followers are a great bunch. Every single one of them.
Well you may not fully understand the sport.
GAA football doesn't look great to me,but each to their own. Hurling is an excellent sort.

Agreed, a breath of fresh air with his enthusiasm for the subject under discussion. Where does he teach?

I also had an excellent English teacher whose influence cannot be underestimated. Such teachers are a rare breed.

Wesley College, Dublin. Or he did anyway, instrumental in starting that best selling book they do, (can't remember the name of it) it asks celebs and personalities about their favorite poems.

I wonder whatever happened the tree stump in the grounds of Rathkeale Church.
The tree stump, which people believe depicts an image of the Blessed Virgin, in the grounds of the church in Rathkeale, Co Limerick.

As a place of worship, it's verging on the bizarre: a tree stump in the grounds of a church which many believe depicts an image of the Blessed Virgin.
