Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Petri 7 film camera film advance lever stuck. camera repair anyone?

I got an old Petri 7 camera that i wanted to experiment with. unfortunately, the film advance lever is stuck at the 90 degree position. I've been trying to exercise it all the shutter speeds, and I got it to move from the 180 degree position it was originally stuck at.

The aperture blades aren't opening when I fire the shutter. Anyone know how to fix it? Looking online, I see that people open them and oil the different parts. I'm scared of doing that though and can't even figure out how to open the top panel.

Anyone know where I can get it looked at for not much money? The camera isn't worth much so I don't to pay much to repair it.

    A Petri 7 can be had for anywhere between €15 - €60.

It would possibly cost more if you had to pay someone to look at it.
