    Hi,
I have a student looking at a room in my house. Its a large room, separate tv room, and broadband is included. I figure to charge the average in dundalk but for the life of me I cant find a price listed anywhere.

There's no answer from the su either :(:(. So what are costs for digs in dundalk?

Check www.daft.ie under 'sharing' average from my experience of looking around is 55euro (very small box room) to 80 euro (ensuite double room).

Dont know if your including meals as if you are I wouldnt know what to charge.

The price depends on where the house is really.
There is a big price difference between a room in Glenwood and a room in College Heights or Manor (and rightly so).

If you look on rent.ie you might get an idea of prices.

    http://www.rent.ie/rooms-to-rent/louth/dundalk/room-type_either/

Or the student housing list (bottom of page under attachments)

    http://www.dkitsu.ie/accommodation/49-students.html

Or you could tell us which estate the house is in and we could maybe tell you what we are paying.

    Thanks for the replies,
Its a once off house about a mile and a half from the college (out of town). The house is a new build, with large kitchen, bathroom, bedroom is very large, sitting room and sun room both with tvs. BB is included as I said before.

Will be providing breakfast (cereal/toast), I think the student wants to cook his own meals.

    €50 - €60 a week is what I'd be willing to pay.

Maybe less as I could get a room closer to the college with other students for the same or not much more.

But it all depends on how much its worth to you and how much hassle it is to rent it out.
