    Hi,

    I'm not looking for suggestions for a present, I'm looking for the title of the thread as a Christmas Present for someone very special - A RC Ford escort MkI (2 door preferably)
    I have scoured the internet and asked at every car show I've been to and cannot for the life of me locate this item.
    If anyone has any suggestions, ideas or knows where on could procure this item I would be so grateful.

    In terms of spend from what I can guage for similar products I've looked at some where between €100 to €200 is about right.
    I was looking for an RTR rather than a kit if at all possible, I had come across a few sites who do kits and bodies but the standards of the bodies I saw were'nt what I was hoping for.

    There's no RTR available. Retro Racing and Kamtec are the only companies who do a MK1 or 2 escort, so you'll have to get a chassis like a tamiya TT01 separately. I'd go for the RR the detail on the Kamtec isn't as good as it's intended for banger racing. I'd post a link, only I'm on my phone.
