    I started a poll thread in AH about the new stickied advertainment/ thread

    'When Eleanor McEvoy dropped in to Boards.ie HQ (New!)'

    ie my thread was about this one:

    which has now been moved or deleted with no reason given.

    Why was it not simply locked if it broke any rules ?
    Also, why no explanation ?

    I removed that thread. As valid as the query may have been, the thread very quickly descended into all sorts of allegations and we are not a platform for abuse of any description.

    My apologies I didn't inform you - I'm in the middle of a couple of things here and I should have taken the time.

    If you have any further questions or suggestions on how we make those threads less disruptive, please do let me know.
