Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Can't use Word

Apologies if in the wrong place.

I'm trying to write a letter on Word. I've been ignoring the "Enter product code" screen for ages (I know..), and now I can only view previous docs. When I click on New or try to edit an exiting doc it says "This modification is not allowed because the selection is locked."

Anyone any idea what I've done? I've tried entering the product key but the "Continue" button is not active iykwim, it's dull rather than highlighted.

I need this letter for tomorrow morning, so any help much appreciated.

May I be the first to advise that you download and install Openoffice, write the document and save it in Word format. Then go back and figure out the Word problem.

Sounds like it's inactive. Google Activate Microsoft Word. I had to do it by phone last time which was annoying

Thanks, Open Office it is, then I'll try to sort out Word (although once I have Open Office installed it's probably not worth the hassle).

    Cheers guys.
