Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

tube sizing

Bit of a newbie question from a cycling forum lurker...

    I bought a Dr.Sludge 700x 28-35c tube recently. Is it ok to use in a 700x25mm tyre?
Would it be slightly too big and causes issues?

I was looking for a 700 18-23c tube which were out of stock, but the guy in the shop said this would do. Thought I'd ask here before I go changing tubes later.

I've had a shed-load of pinhole punctures lately on my commute to work. Very glassy and some nasty potholes, so I thought I'd give the self sealing tubes a shot.

    Thanks

Not sure to be honest but it may be a harder getting your tube up to as high a psi as you might like given the tyre size.

Should be fine, it is close enough.

It was a bit of an ordeal to get them on but they seem fine. They weigh an absolute tonne though.
