UPC "line in use" problem

    Hey guys

    In the last hour or so the UPC handsets in the house have developed an error which seems to be blocking all inbound and outbound calls. If I try to make an outbound call I get a "line in use" error on the handset, even though the other handset is not making a call. There's only one base station plugged into the cable modem for the phones. I have tried resetting both the modem and said base station but to no avail. Other UPC services seem to be working as I can browse without problem using the same connection the VOIP service should be using. Any ideas on how I can try to resolve this issue?
