no just that retailers can decide on it themselves which means we will get fleeced :rolleyes: just import the console from NA as well as your games

the fella in gamestop told me it will be around 300 quid... i know him for ages, he wouldnt bull**** me, i suppose thats what gamestop is aiming at... i presume with irish retailers allways being so fair... we are looking atleast 250 quid with no games?

I prebooked it allready, but the further it goes, the less i want it...

i presume its imposible to cancel prebooking now?

im sure you can cancel it go in and ask anyway, play has it listed at 300 euro which equals $400 so screw that s*** when the US are paying $250 for it

I could never understand how something sells for 250 dollars in the states which is around 190 euro, yet we have to pay 250-300, doesn't seem to make sense.

welcome to europe lol. Good example is steam and regional pricing, but thats anather story.

I am trying to watch this live event, and i barely can stay awake... the longer i watch it, the more i want to cancel...

Personally I think the biggest flaw with the PSP is that they didnt put 2 control sticks on it.

If they made it feel the same or similar to the controllers we use for normal games.

This would open it up to having proper FPS's on it and make the control of the sysem in general not feel so dated.

I dont see why they dont do this. I really dont.

PSP2 has two analogue sticks and is rumoured to have a COD game lined up.

The lack of an analoge stick isn't what killed the PSP. People don't buy portables to play games they can play on their home consoles. The DS provided a different gaming experience from what they provided which is why it succeeded. Games need to be tailored to the portable experience. You can make a CoD or GTA game for a handheld but it's really not suited to the device.

YAY COD in space woo... Thats my life long dream to play COD in space..

COD will fail next year.. But the PSP 2 will kick ass compared to 3DS but I prefer the games on the DS than on the PSP so hence why I am going for 3DS on this one... The price imo aint that bad.. When you look back to the ps3 price in america and in europe it was pretty much the same... When any console is priced at a certain price in america expect to pay that price in euros for the console when it hits shelves here..

Rang GAME anyways he says he hasnt got the go ahead from the HQ or whatever and does not even know the colours..

The PSP2 will have Call of War which is call of duty in Greece where you play as kratos from God of War in 1st person with a gun . It hasn't been announced but I heard it from my friend in industry.

After reading boards for a few years all you guys do is bit.ch about everything knowing to man kind who cares how much the 3DS is going to cost i am still getting one

Sorry but after buying 2 separate PSPs (1st bricked while abroad) I think I will just stick with the consoles and the old reliable DSi. Eyes are already bad enough without the 3DS melting whats left up there...

Well don't believe me if you want. My friends working as a games journalist and been doing interviews of canadian developers who have been saying they are making games on the devkits of two handheld machines that are supporting 3D and it's not Apple hardware. Sony press conference at the end of the month will reveal all.

A FPS God of War sounds like a absolutely idiotic idea. Pist off at the 3DS price but I doubt a handheld nearly as powerful as a PS3 will be cheap or have a good battery.I'm sure it'll be a improvement on the PSP which wouldn't be a big achievement.

A lad over on 3dsbuzz.com forums was at the event and he says the retail price is 229 in england and 250euro in rest of europe... If I go to game I get 5000 points on card (then can spend 10er on a game as you get double reward points).. Anyways ASDA have it for 217 pound with Super Monkey Ball 3D..

who cares how much 3ds will cost? damn m8... sad... wait a sec here, i will go make a poo, stick a flag with NINTENDO 4DS XL GTI COMBO SUPER PENIS ENLARGER! then i drop a price tag of 1k eu and sell it to you! It will make bouth of us happy!

Cost does matter, as people will give theyr own hard earn money for device. I think it might be one of the coolest devices this year, but if handheld device got a bigger price tag then home console, then there is defenetly something wrong...

As for psp2... nobody knows a thing about it yet, as long as i care, it can freaking print money and give +100% chance to get sex with pornstar. Too early to do fanboy keyboard warrior arena, lets just see what will happen with 3ds.

i am really looking forward to have my first DS handheld, as i newer had a chance to get one, but if nintendo will come over with idiotic pricing... then meh... ill skip...
