Switch to O2 to get good Vodafone deal?

    Hi. This just came to mind, but I'm sure there are plenty of terms and conditions to stop it.

    I'm on vodafone ready to go and would like to get an iphone. Could I port to O2, and then port back to Vodafone? Would I then be a "new customer" and get the €120 euro free credit?

    Trying to cushion the €460 price tag of the iphone 3gs :)

    You have to be off the network for a month, if your after a as new factory unlocked 32gb 3GS for a lot cheaper let me know, I've one on adverts.
