Beyond Saturday's upcoming Galway photowalk, there is a strong interest among members of 091 Labs for anything and everything photography related. So, to that end, we're (well I am) are drawing up plans to add photographic facilities for:

1. Darkroom, scanning and analogue printing.
2. Digital darkroom and digital editing.
3. Base studio work.

A physical darkroom and scanning station is our first goal, accessible 24/7 in Galway city centre. We already have a table and sink, woo, and I'm waiting on a quote on chemicals and supplies from Gunn's. At this stage I'm really not sure how access will be charged or handled beyond the simple fact that with more people contributing we can offer more to photographers.

So if you're in Galway/west of Ireland would you be interested in this? A darkroom, darkroom workshop, scanning and ultimately a full editing workstation.

i'd be interested in a space where i could drop in for say 1/2 or full day's b+w printing and bring my own paper but have the use of an enlarger/chems, hell yeah.

if it was reasonably priced though. and by that i mean cheeeeeep.

I'd be all over it! I've no way to set up my own darkroom & I'd love to get to use one regularly again. So count me in.
