Galway to Clifden bus??

Does anyone know if there are any buses running from Galway City after 7pm to Clifden this evening?

No, the last one would be the bus eireann at 6.15 or 6.30.
the 5.30 citylink would get there faster.

Ironically, this is a perfect example of why the OP was right to post here:

The first result of the Google search is a UK travel info consolidation site - they tend not to give good results for Ireland, though in this case they do actually point to Citylink and eventually give a link to their website.

Second is a pretty site from the Clifden Chamber of Commerce - who tend not to worry to much about buses!

And third is www.michaelneecoaches.com/timetable.htm, which shows a 9:30pm departure from Galway on Fridays.

But as many of us know, they were bought out by Citylink, whose timetable doesn't include that service.

So if the OP had just googled, they might be standing hopefully somewhere, only to become very disappointed.
