I recently accidentally came into possession of an old framed photo of Pope Benedict XV which had a dedication to two brothers David and Richard Kirwan dated 1920.

From searching the 1901 and 1911 census I discovered that four unmarried brothers owned a drapery and possibly a grocery shop in 13/14 Main Street Thurles (now the Permanent TSB building in Liberty Square? ).

I suppose the other two brothers (Patrick and Edward) could have died before 1920 as they were all about 59-66 in 1911 or maybe they moved away?.

Does anyone have any other information about them or their shop.

    Thanks
