    Hi All,
Very new to audio but looking to set up surround sound for my bluray palyer, sky box and media player.

Is it possible to use the optical connection on all these device's to connect to a surround sound system?

Called in to Currys today but could only see systems that connect to dvd/bluray player only.

    Thanks for any advice. :D

digital optical cable will give you dolby d5.1 and dts from games console and from your sky box.as for blu ray best to hook up using hdmi for the dolby true hd and dts master 5.1s from blu ray discs.
