Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I have a 2.1 all in one Blu Ray system, does all the HD audios etc etc.

I was watching kick ass there on Blu Ray and there was one scene I was very disappointed with. The scene is here on youtube (the warehouse scene)

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7NHwsrYlDHE

Anyway, the screams of the people as they die were barely audiable, they just kind of got lost in the gunfire / music (unlike in the crappy youtube video for example).

Any settings or anything that can be done to make the more 'background' sounds more audible? Besides upgrading to 5.1 for example.

Kick ass is a 7.1 disc alot of that scene bullets flying etc would be goin to the surrounds and surroundbks of a 7.1 set -up individually.Check through your blu rays decoders for something like a threatre dimentional setting to produce a 5.1 sound from your 2.1 set but because of the disc been 7.1 you probabally goin to be missing parts of the audio.

    Sure I can understand that.

I still thought we were at a stage where they could make accommodate those who haven't got 8 speakers etc.

I know theres a movie setting so I'll try that. Thanks for the advice.

Does the blu-ray have a stereo audio track? If so, switch to that.
